Graphite slip cloth beneath the belt improves machine performance by reducing friction between the machine bed and the sanding belt. This reduces the risk of burning your work piece as well as lightening the load on the motor thereby improving the longevity of your belts.
The belt can also be positioned in an upright position if you are doing end grain work or longer edge work where more room is required. Hook and Loop (9" - 230mm) discs allow for far easier disc changes over self-adhesive discs. This feature means less down time when disc changing is required and also makes grit changes a practical option so that multiple grits can be used to properly finish your work.
The belt can be used horizontally or vertically, while the sanding disc has a tilting work table with mitre gauge and standard 3/4" mitre gauge slot. Two 63.5mm dust extraction ports are standard equipment helping to minimise dust. An open stand completes this best seller.
