Dual Check Valves are utilised for protection from cross contamination of non potable water with potable water. They are a mandatory requirement and should be fitted on all irrigation systems that are connected to the mains because Dual Check Valves effectively prevent the back-flow of potentially harmful debris. They are used in low hazard conditions such as rain water tank systems and domestic meter connections.
