Princeton: Best Synthetic Sable watercolour brushes are made with a blend of golden taklon hairs in a variety of different diameters. Developed for Princeton by master Japanese brush-maker Naohide Takamoto, these brushes take the 'Tak' from Takamoto to give the taklon? fibres their distinctive name. Princeton brush fibres, though made with synthetic bristles, have the appearance of genuine sable hairs.
The fibres are held in place with a golden ferrule and the handles are fashioned from marbled red hardwood (the wash brushes have clear acrylic handles). This brush style absorbs water easily and paints supple strokes with a natural snap. Princeton brushes in the 4050 Series resist even the heaviest of painting wear and always return to a tight point or crisp edge after use.,Princeton: Best Synthetic Sable watercolour brushes are made with a blend of golden taklon hairs i
